Characters Meiko Inoue and Naruo Taneda graduate from college university two years ago. Unhappy and unsatisfied with their current lives, and the hunger for hitting something big and going professional eats them from their back.. Meiko decides to quit her job and encourages her boyfriend to rebuild the band with former band members in the University Katou Kenichi ( 6th year in college) and Jirou Yamada ( owner of father’s pharmacy) and go professional music making after singing in college stages.. They ultimately fail and get rejected by CD record companies.


Taneda becomes depressed and continues with his average life and says his last prayers to his family and friends for some reason .. and is overwhelmed by emotions while having realised he has to return to his mental profession and have failed in his dream, he speeds thorugh a redlight on his motorcycle dying on the spot..

Everything comes to a halt for the team and they fall silent… When MEIKO finally decides to move on, strap on naruo’s stratocaster and standing in front of the livehouse light and singing the last song that naruo wrote for her, which was ” SOLANIN!!!” basically meaning ‘goodbye’… And performs a debut gig which concludes Meiko taking the job and the other band members returning to their daily regimen.

The film teaches me about our destiny, real work peace, sense of home ,good times , and a lot more…
It was a solid 9/10.. a solid whole number because it deserves.
