
Virat Kohli on Sunday(19 September 2021) announced in his twitter
that he would step down from Royal Challengers Bangalore
captaincy after the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL
2021). Earlier, Kohli had announced that he would step down as a
captain of the Indian cricket team for T20 Internationals after the ICC
T20 World Cup 2021.
The 32 year old cricket icon said in his twitter handle:-
“This will be my last IPL as captain of RCB. I’ll continue to be an
RCB player till I play my last IPL game. I thank all the RCB fans for
believing in me and supporting me,”
