AS MY LIFE IS GONNA END SOON.
THEN WHAT’S ALL THESE
COMPLAINS IN THE MORNING
COFFEE? WHY YOU SLEEP SO FAR EVERY AFTERNOON?
THOUGH EVERY SECOND I
FEEL LOW OF YOUR THIS WAY.
YET I WAS HOLDING MY
BREATHS AND LET THE TEARS
STAY ON THE EDGE OF EYES.
I M TRYING MY BEST CAUSE I
ALSO WANT TO BE A BETTERFLY.
AND WHY NOT WE LIVE
EVERYDAY AS IF IT’S THE FIRST.
THAT WOULD BE REAL LIVEING.

I M RUNNING BLINDLY FOR THE UNKNOWN.
JUST MINDLESSLY LOSING MYSELF.
LOOSING THE FAITH GAINED BY GETTING STEPS BACK.
BUT THAT’S ENOUGH.

WE DON’T TALK ANYMORE.
BUT I SILENTLY CHOOSE THE RIGHT ONE BEING
AT THE LAST BENCH .
THOSE WHO CARE WITHOUT HUNTING,
LOVE WITHOUT EXPECTING,
ARE MY FRIENDS WITHOUT CONFESSING .

EVERYTHING IS FINE IN THE MORNINGS
WITHOUT HAPPINESS.
CRY WITHOUT TEARS.
THOSE WHO HAVE GONE OUT OF THIS WAY MAKE SENSE.
AND THE CRUELS HAVE JUST STAYED ENOUGH TO BREAK UP HEART .

IN THE END, THE ONES I THOUGHT AS FRIENDS
WERE THE ENEMIES.
I FOUND ME STANDING ALONE IN A CROWDED HALL.
NARRATING MY THOUGHTS WRITTEN FOR THOSE
FAKE ONES.
AND SMILING MEANINGLESSLY.

ARE WE REALLY INDEPENDENT?

You will be thinking that after 75 years of independence why the hell I am asking this question or you may think that I will be targeting the system of the country or its politics ..but shokingly NO! This question which I raised is for you,me and everyone reading this post here.I want to ask whether your thoughts and views are independent just like you?

If you’re a boy then think -don’t you fear sharing your problems with family( you can’t cry man, you are boy),don’t you fear being jobless after a certain age (who would give their daughter’s hand to a jobless fellow like you),don’t you feel low being short in height ,do you have guts to say your family that you don’t want to work perhaps you will be doing all the household stuffs and will support your working wife mentally (trust me people will say you ghar jamai)and the list is endless.

If you’re a girl then think-if you are a working women and getting success day by day , don’t you fear that all male working there may think that you are having some close relationship with the boss.If you are a typical middle class sanskari girl don’t you think wearing a bit short dress can make all the aunties in your colony mock or insult you.If you are a typical ‘Gao Vali Larki’ do you have guts to say ‘NO’ to your husband if you are not ready yet .If you are ‘Sheher Vali Larki’ don’t you fear walking alone in the streets after 10.Don’t you fear having stain on your cloth in public. And again the list is endless.

So the question is relevant right? We may be independent in terms of speech, race, relegion and caste.But trust me we are not independent in terms of our thoughts. There is no problem in a boy being short and a girl being extremely tall .There is no problem if a boy doing household stuffs and her wife is doing job. There is no problem in a wife saying to her husband that she needs time .And trust me there is no problem in anything you are doing as you are answerable to only yourself not to anyone else .
