SEASONS PASSED AND
MY HEART GET COLD.
I CAME TO KNOW HOW
FAR I HAVE TRAVELED
THIS INCREATABLE
JARNEY OF LIFE.
ENEN THOUGH I CAN’T
RETURN TO THE PAST
BUT I’M STILL DREAMING TO BE.
YET I HAVE LEARNED A
LOT OF THINGS.
BUT MAKE THE SAME
MISTAKE OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
I FELT, IT’S WHAT THE LIFE IS.
MAY BE FUTURE IS A SURPRISE,
THEN WHY I M NOT
EXCITED TO VISIT IT?
WHY FEAR RUNS
THROUGH MY VAIN?
THE QUESTIONS ARE
MANY THAT NOT A
SINGLE BOOK CAN ANSWER,
I REALISED, LIFE IS
JUST LIKE A FLOW OF WATER.
Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Punjab Kings, 37th Match

Punjab Kings won by 5 runs
PBKS – 125/7 (20)
SRH – 120/7 (20)
Player of the Match – Jason Holder
Relief in the Punjab camp. Another game that’s gone down to the wire, kind of, and this time they have ended on the right side of it. Hyderabad only have themselves to blame really. 126 wasn’t the biggest of targets, even if you factor in the ultra-slowness of the pitch, but they just had no impetus in the run chase until Holder’s arrival. Warner and Williamson fell to Shami’s excellent new-ball burst and the Punjab boys then kept squeezing the run flow. Saha, Pandey and Jadhav did get starts but none of them looked like taking the game away from the opposition. It actually seemed like a comfortable win for Punjab before Holder started belting sixes for fun, taking the game deep but in the end, he lacked support. If only someone else had also shown more intent. Not to take anything away from KL Rahul’s boys, they were exceptional with the ball. This is the lowest score successfully defended in the IPL at Sharjah.

Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals, 36th Match

Delhi Capitals won by 33 runs
DC – 154/6 (20)
RR – 121/6 (20)
Player of the Match -Shreyas Iyer
The Delhi bowlers have flexed their muscles in this match, they were given just 154 to defend, and they’ve done it by a comprehensive margin. That six off the penultimate ball took Avesh over the threshold, but before that none of them were going at more than 7 an over. With the new ball, Avesh and Nortje ran in hard and got a couple of early wickets, before Ashwin took over, giving little away and inducing a brilliant stumping of Miller. As a result, RR were already facing an uphill task when they slipped to 17/3 in the powerplay. They had a couple of partnerships from there, but they never got out of the stranglehold that Delhi’s bowlers had on them. By the time Samson found a greater gear – close to the 15th over – it was too late,
A win for the Royals would’ve shaken up the table today, but their middle-order woes were laid bare again, while Delhi showed once more that they’re one of the stronger bowling sides in the tournament, if not the best. All bases covered, right from red-hot pace to some top-class spin options.

Dhoni’s squad have been knocking off run-chases like these since forever. This will hurt Bangalore though, for they’ve gambled with their team combination once again after their previous 92-all-out, and in the process have lacked incision with the ball. So Faf and Gaikwad started off much like how Kohli and Padikkal did in the powerplay, using the non-swinging ball and these tiny boundaries to good effect. And despite the wobble against the leg-spin of Chahal and Hasaranga soon after, Moeen and Rayudu were quick to find their groove and made sure things didn’t stagnate. Given Rayudu’s swollen elbow and Raina’s clear weakness against quick pace, perhaps Kohli missed a trick by keeping his spinners on for a little too long. But still, it was RCB’s batting in the second half of their innings that lost them this. Surely this was no 157-run wicket. This RCB-CSK rivalry easily trumps everyone. Alas, it was a little too one-sided on the field yesterday night.

_YOU ARE NOT HERE TODAY_
I’M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT
TODAY THAT HOW IT GONNA
PASS WITHOUT YOU.
IF I CAN CONCENTRATE OR
NOT IN MY WORK?
SO I THINK, TODAY ALL I
NEED TO JUST REST IN BLUE.
FROM THE BEGINNING OF
MORING, THE HONEY
MEMORIES ARE SO
CHEERFULLY PLAYING INSIDE
MY HEAD.
EVEN I CAN’T PEACEFULLY
SET IN MY BED.
HOW EMBARRASSING TO SAY
I’M REALLY MISSING YOU.
IT BRINGS BUTTERFLIES IN
MY STOMACH.
THE WAY YOU TREAT
YESTERDAY, I’M OK NOW
AFTER A LITTLE HEADACHE.
