It was 2019
It was the month of May ....
scorching heat sweaty clothes exhausted faces ....
all fighting to sit at the corner of the bench to get the so called cool air coming from the fan above
yes it was the period just after break time ....
everybody just not in a mood to study and praying for an episode of rain by looking up to the cloudy weather atleast for the next forty minutes so that the subject teacher is unable to reach the classroom on time ........
summer vacation was actully a silver linning for us up to some extent because we used to be happy about not facing the arrogant sun for the next one month but also sad for the fact that we would be away from school for so long ....
but as per the legacy we had to say a temporary "good bye"to our beloved school friends nd teachers ofcourse ...
summer vacations meant going for a trip or just chilling at home learning new things nurturing hobbies doing homely picnics ..nd ofcourse just not thinking about the homeworks nd finally welcoming them just one week before the school would reopen ......
the first day of school after summer vacation was no less than an "event full " day...Hundred stories rushed through our head nd we just wanted to sit in groups and just talk about everything we did in our holidays ...
Yes ofcourse the teachers had to be more strict to us for atleast one week after the vacation ended because tbh we became uncontrollable...
there always some people who used to some how miss school on the day of home work submission days by saying "unwell due to the scorching heat"
now standing at the last day of our second last "summer vacation "which does not have any stories to tell does not have any excitement to express does not have homeworks to submit or tease people who do not which does not requires to be scared ....it's going to be same again ..just sitting in front of the laptop submitting online assignments and be just not bothered about anybody's summer vacation stories ....
coz that's how we live our school life right now
all calm nd quiet without any memories to be made ..!
